Kentucky GenWeb projectCARRIE ELEANOR MESSER, 79, of Beavercreek, formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday, August 14, 2001 in Heartland of Beavercreek. She was born on August 17, 1921, in Carter County, Kentucky, the daughter of John & Della Irwin Boggs. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Della & Mike Oliver of Xenia and Linda Hall of Columbus; a son and daughter-in-law Gary & Carol Messer of Springfield; four brothers, Virgil Boggs of Hobbs, New Mexico, Ora and Wanda Boggs of Mansfield, Glenn and Mary Elizabeth Boggs of Mansfield, Leo and Betty Boggs of New Carlisle; four grandchildren include James Sells, Jon (Alicia) Sells, Charity Oliver, James Hall, and Wilma (Don) Jipping; six great grandchildren, Chris, Nick, Zack, Jeff, Joey, and James; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harl Messer and her parents. A gathering of friends and family will be held 6-8pm Friday, August 17, in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, SPRINGFIELD. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 18, at 10:00am in the funeral home with the Pastor Steve Wallace officiating. Memorial gifts may be made to the donor’s favorite charity
