Dorthy Inez Bond Moreland Born 1920 OLIVE HILL – Dorthy Inez Bond Moreland, 86, of Olive Hill, passed away Monday, April 23, in Carter Nursing & Rehab in Grayson. Mrs. Moreland was born May 15, 1920, in Carter County, and is the daughter of the late Joseph and Nora Jordan Bond. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Bond and Clayton Bond; one sister, Opal Garvin. She was a member of the Henderson Branch Christian Holiness Church and was a life long homemaker. Dorthy is survived by her husband of 30 years, George Moreland; one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Regina Moreland of Olive Hill; two very special grandkids, Jonathan Moreland and Kyle Moreland. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Lewis Davis and Gary Waugh officiating. Burial followed in the Dean Cemetery in Olive Hill. Friends called Thursday, April 26, after 5 p.m. and until time of service Friday at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill.
