Michael Bond 1968 - 2005 Michael Vanis “Uncle Mike” Bond, age 36, of Grayson, KY, passed away on Monday, March 7th, 2005 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born June 25th, 1968, at Ashland, KY, a son of Dotty Collins McDavid and Joe McDavid of Grayson and the late Melvin Bond. He was a laborer with Local # 1445 of Catlettsburg, KY. Preceding him in death was his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Bertha Whitt Collins and paternal grandparents, Charles and Ethel Carroll Bond. In addition to his parents, he is survived by: one son: Dustin Michael Bond of Grayson. One daughter: Ashley Tolliver of Grayson. One granddaughter: Karen Tolliver of Grayson. One sister: Jamie Lou Wellman of Grayson and 2 nephews who loved him dearly: Joseph Willis and J.T. Wellman both of Grayson. Three stepsisters: Kim Bayes of Grayson, Kelli Fleeman of Hecla, OH and Amy Hackney of Grayson. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 11th, 2005 at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Tommy Harris, minister. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, March 10th, from 6-9pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Robert Allen Bond, Ronald Bond, Derek Bond, Richard Burke, Jeff Wellman, Jim Hall, Bill Buck Waggoner and Joseph Willis.
