December 8, 2006 Middletown Journal, Middletown, Ohio Ethel Faye WOLFE, age 95, of Franklin, OH died Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Ethel was born in Grayson, (Carter County), KY on March 5, 1911 to Robert and Lillie (Jackson) Bowling. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband Fred and son Ken. Ethel was a child of God and a member of Temple Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred; her parents; her son, Larry Wolfe; a sister, Magdaelene Ropp, 5 brothers, Hargis, Ray, Bob Jr, Elgan, and Olgust Bowling. Surviving are a son, Ken Wolfe and wife Judy of Centerville; a special friend, Rosemary Griffith; 3 sisters, Blanche McNeely of Atlanta, Delores Patton of Franklin, and Florence Hilderbran of Springfield; 2 brothers, Max Bowling of Ashland, KY and Coby Bowling of Olive Hill, KY; numerous nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and church friends. Funeral services are Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 2pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, OH with Rev. Bob Smith officiating. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 1pm until time of the service.
