Kentucky GenWeb projectOBIT - Hubert Burnett 1897-1993 - Hubert Burnett, 95, of Iron Hill, died Wednesday in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Mr. Burnett was born Nov. 11, 1897, at Iron Hill, a son of the late Henry and Lucy Wicker Burnett. His wife, Audrey Burnett, died in 1978. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are four daughters, Louise McGlone and Garnet Messer, both of Grayson;Lillie Ryder of South Vienna, Ohio; and Hazel Messer of Olive Hill; four sons, Paul Burnett, Jack Burnet, and Richard Burnett, all of Grayson and Robert Burnett of Fontana, Calif.; 32 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery. (The Daily Independent, Ashland, Kentucky, Thursday, July 1, 1993)
