Ruby (Burton) Bradford - 1910-2006

Ruby Burton, age 96, of Grayson, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, in Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Burton was born Aug. 25, 1910, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late John and Lucy Adams Bradford.
She was formerly employed at Burton's Fairway Market, was the former operator of the Yellow Jacket Grill and was a member of Grayson Nazarene Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, former Grayson Police Judge Arthur (Catty) Burton; two sons, Garland Burton and Don Burton;
a daughter, Carmaletta Burton; two grandsons, Keith Burton and Kevin Burton; two sisters, Edith Carroll and Gladys Shaffer;
and a brother, Ross Bradford. Her survivors include a daughter, Imogene and Frank Horton of Grayson; a brother, Willard Bradford of Weeksbury, Ky.;
a sister, Betty Bradford of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters-in-law, Sarah Ann Burton and Loretta Burton, both of Grayson;
two granddaughters, Patty Ann Burton and Vickie (Kevin) Mullins, both of Grayson;
and two great-grandchildren, Mark Aaron Queen of Grayson and Kelly Dawn Burton of Lexington, Ky.

A committal service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Jim Harris, minister. Burial will be in Burton Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home..
