THELMA BURTON PENCE, 86, of Stanton, formerly of Carter, widow of Jack Pence, died Sunday. 
She was a former cook at Carter Caves State Resort Park and Carter Elementary School. 

Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday at Old Oakland Christian Holiness Church; burial in Oakland Cemetery. 

Visitation after 6 p.m. today at Sparks Funeral Home, Grayson.
