Cecil W. Cains Sr., 74 of Denton, Ky in Carter County died Thursday Dec 31,1998 in Kings Dauaghters Medical Center. Mr. Cains was born in Hitchins,a son of the later Oscar and Goldia Cartwright Cains. He was a retired coal miner. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Miller Cains, a daughter , Diana Aubrey of Cincinnati; a son, Cecil W. Cains Jr. of Denton; four brothers, Don Cains of Huntington,W.Va.,George Cains of Grayson and Woodrow Cains and Claude Cains, both of Denton; four sisters, Ruth Marcum of Hitchins, Clotene Gilliam of Logan, W.Va., Faye Evans and Dottie Cole of Flatwoods; three grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
