Calvin E. Carroll - 

Calvin E. Carroll, 82, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. 
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, at Chapman's Morturary, Huntington, with Rev. 
Cliff Eastham officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 93 of Kenova. 
Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. 

He was born March 21, 1920, in Huntington, a son of the late Milton G. and Rhoda Gill Carroll. 

He was also preceded in death by his wife, June Lee Hancock Carroll; a grandson, David Allen Carroll; and several brothers. 
He was a retired employee of Hodaille Industries and wa a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. 

Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Walter Carroll and Calvin E. Carroll Jr. and Debra Carroll, all of Huntington; 
two sisters, Ramona Tomblin of Huntington and Gladys Huffman of Toledo, Ohio; three brothers, Chester Carroll of Jacksonville, Fla., 
Milton Carroll of Fairborn, Ohio, and Paul Carroll of South Dakota; five grandchildren, Tommy Carroll, Jerry Carroll, Timmy Carroll, 
Daniel Carroll, and Philip Carroll; and two great grandchildren, Mason and Emily Carroll. 

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at Chapman's Morturay.

He was the grandson of Daniel Boon and Amanda Simmons Carroll, also the grandson of Thomas and Mary George Finnie Gill 
(all long time Carter Co. residents)
