Kentucky GenWeb projectOBIT - Earl Carroll, 82, of Olive Hill, died Friday at his residence following a sudden illness. Mr. Carroll was born Dec. 6, 1902, in Carter County, a son of the late Jeff and Mary D. Carroll. Surviving are his brother, Leonard Carroll of Olive Hill; and a sister, Mrs. Dolly Dietrich of Portsmouth. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Leslie A. Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill by Beurel Sturgill and Darwin Sturgill, ministers. Burial will be in Jeff Carroll Cemetery at Oats Hill Road in Olive Hill. The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. (The Daily Independent, Ashland, KY, Sat, Mar 23, 1985)
