Mrs. Bowling Dies Following Sudden Illness

Mrs. Inez Marie Bowling, 67, Rt. 1, Ashland, was dead on arrival at King's Daughters' Hospital at 11:00 p.m. Wednesday after suffering a sudden illness 
at her home.     

Mrs. Bowling was born Feb. 13, 1901, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Daniel Boone Carroll and Amanda Simmons Carroll.     

She was a memeber of Princess Chapel and had been a resident of Boyd County for 50 years.     

Surviving are the husband, W. M. Bowling; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Moore of Rt. 3, Ashland and Mrs. Helen Berry of Rush; 
four sons, Athene Bowling of Rt. 1, Ashland, W. M. Bowling, Jr. of Wyandotte, Mich., Earl Bowling of Rt. 3, Ashland, and 
Joe T. Bowling of Rt. 2, Ashland; two brothers, Willard Carroll of Carter County and Herbert Carroll of Huntington, 21 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Princess Chapel. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
