J. W. Carroll, 57, Dies In Toledo - 

Grayson - James Watt Carroll, 57, Toledo, O., a native of Carter County, died Tuesday in Toledo, where he lived  
for ?? years and was employed in a ship repair yard.     

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Worth Clagg Funeral Home, with burial in 
a Toledo cemetery.     

Mr. Carroll was a son of Mrs. Rhoda Gill Carroll of 
Toledo and the late Milton Green Carroll. Also surviving are two daughters, 
Mrs. Margaret Hammons and Miss Rita Fay Carroll, Toledo; a stepson, Ladon 
Blair, Toledo; five brothers, Thomas of Toledo, Paul, Ft. Campbell, Ky., 
Milton of Fairborn, O., Chester, of Huntington, and Calvin Carroll, Wayne 
County, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Ramona Tomblin, Beech Fork, W. Va., and Miss 
Gladys Carroll, Toledo; nine grandchildren and three great granchildren. 

(He was a grandson of Daniel Boone and Amanda Simmons Carroll.)
