John E. Carroll Dies At Lexington - Grayson: 

John E. Carroll, 75, of Grayson, husband of Edna Carroll, died yesterday in a Lexington, Ky., hospital. He had been in ill health about four years.     

Mr. Carroll was born June 6, 1881 in Carter County, a son of Boone and Amanda Simmons Carroll.     

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. (EST) tomorrow at the First Baptist Church here. He was a member of the church. 
The Rev. J. C. Stephens will officiate and burial will be in Grayson Memorial Cemetery.     
The body is at the Satterly-Phillips Funeral Home here where friends may call until one hour before servcies when the body will be taken to the church.     

Surviving are his wife; one son, Glenn Carroll of Grayson; one daughter, Mrs. Dollie Witt of Grayson; three grandchildren; 
five brothers, Scott of Stinson, Ky., Milton (Hack) of Toledo, O., Herbert of Huntington, Willad of Hitchins, and Walter of Grayson; 
two sisters, Mrs. William Bowling of Route 1, Ashland, and Mrs. Johnnie Elliott of Hitchins.     

Pallbearers will be Harold Haight, Roscoe Haight, Robert O. Haight, Junior Carroll, Truman Fugate, and Rand Carroll.
