Kentucky GenWeb projectOBIT - Michael E. Carroll - Mansfield - Michael E. Carroll, 55, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital. Born October 5, 1949, in Carter County, Kentucky, he was the son of Willard Carroll and Geneva Greer Yeater. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the U. S. Marines. Mr. Carroll loved woodworking, gardening, cooking and playing euchre. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Geneva and Lawrence Yeater of Mansfield; two daughters, Michelle Bollinger of Caldeonia and Amanda Wilson of Grafton; four grandchildren, Nickolous, Zachary, Sidney and Alexis; a brother, Jerry Carroll of Diamond; two sisters, Deb Baxter of Mansfield and Patricia Fassett of New Albany, Penn.; and special friend and companion, Sue Turner of Mansfield. His father preceded him in death. Memorial services will be held Friday, Sept. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Charles Tobias. Friends may call at the church from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
