Kentucky GenWeb projectWillard Carroll Willard Carroll, 80, Rt. 2, Grayson died at 4 a.m. Sunday at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Carroll was born Sept. 8, 1892, at Everman, a son of the late Daniel B. and Amanda Simmons Carroll. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jeannie Gill Carroll; four sons, Charles A. Carroll, Willard E. Carroll, and Donald Carroll of Mansfield, O., and Curtis Carroll of Coalton, O.; six daughters Mrs. Raymond Eddy of Akron, O., Mrs. J. V. Newland of Columbus, Mrs. William Heaberlin and Mrs. Junior Maggard, both of Grayson, Mrs. Bruce Fite of Mansfield, and Mrs. Larry Gollihue of Delta, O.; 34 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by the Rev. John Kiser. Burial was in the Carter County Memory Gardens.
