Cleo S. Catron 1922-2006 MOREHEAD - Cleo S. Catron, age 84, of Navarre, OH., passed away on Sunday October 1, 2006, in Aultman Hospital, following an extended illness. He was born in Olive Hill, KY., on February 28, 1922, to the late John and Jane Catron. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers--Orville and Robert Catron. Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Joyce Catron; four children--Curtis Catron, Ronald Catron, David Catron, and Diane Young; four brothers--Earl, James, Virgil and Clell Catron; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren He retired from the Timken Company in 1980, following 42 years of employment as a crane operator. Cleo proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple, the Ambassador Bible School Class, and the Clinton Masonic Lodge in Massillon. He enjoyed sheep farming and will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2006, at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bill Catron officiating. Burial will follow in Catron Cemetery in Olive Hill with full military rites conducted at the graveside by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126.
