MANSFIELD -- Clarice Cline Carroll, 71, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at home. She was born Aug. 19, 1933, in Lawton, Kentucky, to John and Alberta Burton Cline. She retired from Therm-O-Disc and had worked at Dominion Electric. Clarice attended Lincoln Heights Church of Christ in Christian Union. She was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Herman, Mansfield Eagles #336 and Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post #3494. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved to cook. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Emil Carroll; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Roy Cyrus of Mansfield; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jenny Carroll of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Julie Cyrus of Mansfield, Joseph Cyrus and his fiancee, Kelli Miller, of Lexington, Nicole Barnes and Matthew Barnes, both of Mansfield; and two great-grandchildren, Blake Cyrus and Luke Cyrus-Hollinger of Mansfield; a brother, Tim Reese of Shelby; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bertha Blevins, Argus and Lea Carroll, Ken and Loretta Carroll and Chester and Susan Blevins, all of Mansfield, Norm and Velma Carroll of California, Eury and Emma Barker of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Evelyn Greenhill of Grayson, Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Carroll; three sisters, Stella Frith, Pearl Hicks and Ruth Ervin; and two brothers, Clarence and Earl Cline. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday, Sept. 26, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Bruce Morrison and Pastor Phil Green.
