Kentucky GenWeb projectMANSFIELD -- Ivan E. Cline, 77, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, in MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a long illness. Ivan was born March 21, 1927 in Globe, KY to Charles Abner and Nola Jane Littleton Cline. Mr. Cline had worked at the Mansfield Tire Co. and retired from the U.S. Post Office. He was an adherent of the First Church of the Open Bible where he enjoyed working and volunteering his time. Also, he enjoyed working in his garden and could always be counted on to help his family with any home improvement projects. His travels included visiting every state in the U.S. except Alaska. Ivan was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Surviving are his wife Magdaline Harich Cline; a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Pam Cline of Mansfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Steve Barclay of Ethridge, TN and Ronda and Cecil Sherman of Mansfield; eleven grandchildren and spouses, Stacey (Bruce) Murphy, Roxie (Doug) Prentice, Shawna (Shane) Douglas, Michelle (Dave) Skok, Christie Cline Colbert, Seth Cline, Anissa Cline, Nikki Sherman, Chelsea Sherman, Taylor Sherman and Josiah Sherman; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer and Alma Cline of Mansfield and Joe and Arlene Cline of Springfield, OH; two sisters and brother-in-law, Betty and Paul Salyers of Olive Hill, KY and Mary Jane Cline of Mansfield and a sister-in-law, Adith Cline of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Donald Lee Cline, a great-grandson, Heath Skok; two brothers, Charles and Bill Cline and two sisters, Lorene Cline and Flora Kiser. Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday, November 23, 2004 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 24 at 1 p.m. by Dr. John Freeman. Military graveside rites will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Open Bible. Online guest registry at www.wappner.com.
