Lillie Suttles - 1928-2007 Lillie Colegrove Suttles, 79, of Grayson, Ky., passed away Sunday, May 27, in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va., following a long illness. Lillie was born March 18, 1928, in Logan, W.Va., the daughter of the late Ellis and Tilda Belcher Colegrove. She was a housewife, loving mother and of the Enterprise Baptist faith. Mrs. Suttles is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ralph Suttles; five sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Mary Jane Suttles, Kevin and Kathy Suttles, Sammy and Kathy Suttles and Michael and Peggy Suttles, all of Grayson, and Charles and Lorelie Suttles of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Gary Waugh and Brenda and Terry Griffith, all of Grayson; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Sally Ingram and Jessie and Bill Sturgill, all of Morehead, Ky., and Donna and Mike Crockett of Cross Lanes, W.Va.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Arlene Colegrove of Connecticut and Gary and Pam Colegrove of Lexington, Ky.; 13 grandchildren, Douglas Suttles, Michael Suttles, Bobbie Ison, Stephanie Adkins, Sharon Suttles, Kevin Griffith, Tera Baldwin, Ryan Suttles, Kyle Suttles, Kayla Porter, Miranda Davis, Mallory Suttles and Morgan Suttles; and 10 great-grandchildren, River Blake Suttles, Caleb Waugh, Brianna Ison, Dakota Adkins, Kirsten Adkins, Leigh Ann Stamper, Kolt Suttles, Kody Suttles, Kenleigh Porter and MaKenna Davis. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Colegrove, who died in the Vietnam War, Jay Colegrove, Oliver Colegrove, who died in the Korean War, and Charles Doughlas Colegrove; and two sisters, Gladys Pennington and Margaret Colegrove. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson by Lewis Davis. Entombment will be in East Carter County Mausoleum. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Don Ison, Caleb Waugh, Ryan Suttles, Aaron Baldwin, Kevin Griffith and Jeff Pennington.
