Betty Counts Bailey 

1933-2004 

Betty J. Counts Bailey, 70, of Grayson, Ky., went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 5, in King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. 
She was born March 5, 1933, in Mann, W.Va., a daughter of the late Hebert and Martha Butler Counts. 
Betty was a member of Pleasant Valley Gospel Tabernacle. 
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James F. Bailey; one son, John W. (Jeannie L. Berry) Selvage of Ashland; four grandchildren, Jimmy Selvage, Amanda (Robert) Clay, Ricky Selvage and Jessica Berry; two great-grandchildren, Austin Clay and Miranda Berry; one brother, John (Mary) Counts of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and one sister, Ruth Counts of Tampa, Fla. 
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, are one son, Mitchell Selvage; and two brothers, Bill and Jim Counts. 
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson with Randy Binion officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill, Ky. 
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at the funeral home.
