Kentucky GenWeb projectArthur Dallas Craft OLIVE Hill, Ky. -- Arthur Dallas Craft, 62, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, at home. Mr. Craft was born Dec. 15, 1942, in Carter County, Ky., a son of the late Fred and Pauline Roark Craft. He was formerly employed by Mansfield Tire, former owner of Velvet Lounge, and he gambled with the best of them. Surviving are son, Darryll (Wendy) Craft of McKinney, Texas; two daughters, Sandy (Tim) Brummage and Melissa Shafer, both of Mansfield; six grandchildren, James Dallas and Will Craft, Kayla and Logan Brummage, Jacob and Jessica Shafer; a special friend and caregiver, Sharon Anderson of Olive Hill. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Craft. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home, conducted by Joe Ruley. Burial will follow in Garvin Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
