Kentucky GenWeb projectTHE SIKESTON HERALD (Sikeston, Missouri) Thursday, August 17, 1939 Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ellen Crain, 79, who died on Saturday, August 12, were held Sunday afternoon at the Church of the Nazarene at Morehouse, with Rev. H. L. Ray officiating. Interment was made in the Sikeston city cemetery with Albritton service. Mrs. Crain was born in Grayson, Ky. October 25, 1859, but had spent most of her life in the Morehouse community. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Emma Dillon and Mrs. Nora Smith of Morehouse and Mrs. Florence Hammack of St. Louis, and a son, John Crain, of Morehouse. Thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
