Kentucky GenWeb projectAshland Daily Independent 8 February 1987 Artle Dickison Artle Dickison, 71, of Route 5, Olive Hill, died Monday in St. Claire Medical Center at Morehead. Mr. Dickison was born Aug 22, 1915, in Carter County, a son of Thomas and Leota Tackett Dickison. He was a retired employee of Louisville Firebrick Co. at Grahn and attended the Regular Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gincy Walker Dickison; four sons, Larry Dickison of Titusville Fla., Ruddie Dickison of Satellite Beach Fla., and Richard Dickison and Mathew Dickison, both at home; a daughter, Jeannie Stephens of Grayson; two brothers, James Dickison and Frank Dickison both of Flatwoods; three sisters, Lucy Wilburn, Edna Hamilton and Nell Wilburn, all of Grove City, Ohio. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill by Hezikiah Osburn, Baxter Osburn and Burl Sturgill. Burial will be at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Friend may call after 6 p.m. today, anytime Wednesday and before the service Thursday at the funeral home.
