John P. Dickison

John P. Dickison, 72, Route 1, South Shore, died Tuesday morning in Scioto Memorial Hospital in Portsmouth following a brief illness.

Mr. Dickison was born Dec 20, 1908, in Carter County, a son of the late Thomas and Leota Tackett Dickison. 
He was a retired employee at Charles Taylor Sons Co. of South Shore and a member of the Masonic lodges.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gertie Roar Dickison; three sons, Mart Dickison of Minooka, Ill., Cecil Dickison of Collinsville, Ala., 
and Kermit Dickison of Plainfield, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Sharon Snyder of New Carlisle, Ohio; three brothers, Jim and Frank Dickison of Flatwwods, 
and Artle Dickison of Olive Hill; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Wilburn of Asheville, Ohio, Mrs. Edna Hamilton of Grove City Ohio, 
and Mrs. Nellie Wilburn of Flatwoods; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a. m. Friday at the Robertson Funeral Home in South Shore by the Rev. Burl Stevens 
and the Rev. Hezekiah Osborne. Burial will be at the Roar Cemetery at Grahn.

The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and until services on Friday.
