Kentucky GenWeb projectTHE MANSFIELD NEWS JOURNAL (Mansfield, Ohio) Friday, November 18, 1949 Mrs. Mollie Duncan Knowland, 78, widow of Cecil Knowland, died last night at her home, 360 Wheatrow Street, following an extended illness. She was born in Olive Hill, Ky., Jan. 6, 1871, and had lived in Mansfield for the past year. Surviving are two sons, Theodore and Cecil Knowland, both of Mansfield; five daughters, Mrs. Pearl Dean, Mrs. Abbie Gillum, and Mrs. Maude Hicks, all of Olive Hill, Ky., Mrs Lida Henderson and Mrs. Elsie Howard, both of Mansfield; and several grandchildren. The body was taken to the Henderson funeral home in Olive Hill, Ky., this morning for funeral services and burial Monday. Arrangements are in charge of the Finefrock funeral home.
