Names of Korean Prison Deaths Released by U. S.
WASHINGTON (UP)
	The Defense, Department Thursday released the first list of names of the 1,022 American servicemen who the Communists claim died in Korean prison camps or escaped.
	The Defense Department emphasized it has no verification of the Communist reports. 
	Next of kin of the soldiers named Thursday have been notified. All on Thursday’s list are Army personnel.
	Other names on the list will be released as their next of kin are notified. 
	The list, with names of those from the Midwest includes:

Cpl. William E. Duncan, son of Mrs. Walter Duncan, Olive Hill.

Hursie Duncan, 320 Ninth Ave., has received word that his brother, William Duncan, former Mansfield resident, who died in prison camp 
during the Korean War, will be returned to the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Duncan, Olive Hill, Ky. 

The service man was employed at the Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co., before entering the army in March, 1949. He was born Sept. 5, 1924 at Olive Hill. 

Funeral services will be held at Olive Hill Sunday at 1 p.m. Among survivors are another brother, Thurman and a sister Mrs. Ora Swinford both of Mansfield.
