Kentucky GenWeb projectTHE POST CRESENT (APPLETON, WISCONSIN) Sunday, December 15, 1968 Mr. John E. Elliott 132 Nye St., Hortonville Age 67, passed away at 6:25 at Appleton Saturday morning following a lingering illness. He was born October 17, 1901 at Olive Hill, Kentucky. For the past 14 years he had resided at Hortonville. Survivors are his wife, Marie; four sons, William, Appleton, Wayne, Milwaukee, Samuel, Hortonville and John Jr., Shiocton, seven daughters, Mrs. Otis (Virginia) Ison, Zion, Ill., Mrs Peter (Elizabeth) Mayer, Neenah, Mrs. Raymond (LaVonne) McKeever, New London, Mrs. David (Carol) Frye, Hortonville, Mrs. Brian (Nila) Zink, Oshkosh, Miss Linda, at home, and Mrs. James (Christine Johnson, Shiocton; one brother, George, Appleton; one half-sister, Mrs. Gilbert Powell, Antigo; 35 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a. m. at the Four Corners Church, Four Corners, Wisconsin. Burial will be in Brent Cemetery at Brant, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the Borchards and Moder Funeral Home, Hortonville after 2 p. m. Monday until 9 a. m. Tuesday and then at the church.
