Wilma L. Wells MANSFIELD -- Wilma L. Wells, 77, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at MedCentral/Mansfield after a short illness. Mrs. Wells was born October 23, 1926 in Olive Hill, KY and has lived in the Mansfield area most of her life. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother who loved her get-togethers with her neighbors and will be remembered as a great cook, as well as her love of fishing and playing bingo. Surviving are three granddaughters and their spouses, Kelli and Michael Hensen of Omaha, NB, Cherrie and Jason McFadden of Columbus, OH, and Kristin Wells of Mansfield; a grandson, Larry Wells of Reno, NV; a great-grandson, Larry Wells, Jr. of Reno, NV; a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Ben Seagraves of Richmond, KY; two brothers and a daughter-in-law, Joe and Myra Erwin of Olive Hill, KY, and Tom Erwin of Russell, KY; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Mitch Tyson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Minnie Jackson Erwin; her husband, Charles W. Wells in September of 1994; three sons, Richard Allen Wells, Gary Lee Wells, and Larry Vernon Wells; a daughter, Candace Wells; and a granddaughter, Candy Wells. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 30, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor John Dodds. Burial will be held in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ridgeway First Church of God.
