Mrs. Ida James
 
Mrs. Ida James, 76, Olive Hill, died Wednesday morning in King's Daughter's Hospital following an extended illness.
 
Mrs. James was born April 15, 1903, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Robert and Shrilda Jane phillips Gilliam.  
She was a member of the Church of Christ.  Her husband George James, preceded her in death.
 
Surviving are three sons, George Jr., William E. and John M. James, all of Mansfield, Ohio;
five daughters, Mrs. Gladys Rogers of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Bernice Conn of Mansfield and 
Mrs. Pauline Carroll, Mrs. Faye Carroll and Mrs. Hazel McGlone, all of Olive Hill; a sister, 
Mrs. Christine Reynolds of Olive Hill; a brother, Troy Gilliam of Grahn; 24 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Oney Funeral Home in Olive Hill, by the Rev. Tom James.  

Burial will be in the Phillips Cemetary.
 
The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.  
 
Pallbears will be Clinton Phillips, Mike Wilson, Tim Fultz, Jim Rogers, and Dale Levisay.
