Kentucky GenWeb projectThe Carter County Herald July 24, 1958 James William Glover James William Glover, 90, died early Sunday morning, July 20,1958, at his home at Upper Tygart, west of this city, after an extended illness. He was born in Carter County, Dec. 30,1867, a son of the late Thomas and Celia Hamm Glover. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 22, at 2p.m. at Bowen Chapel, Rev. Ott Furnish officiating, with burial following in the Bowen Cemetery under the direction of The Lesley A. Henderson Funeral Home. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Lona McCarty, Grayson; Mrs. Cecil Wallace and Ina Gullett, both of Ashland; Mrs. Alma Henson of Upper Tygart, and Mrs. Neno Henderson of Lawton; and two sons, Ed and Tom Glover of Upper Tygart.
