She was born Jan. 15, 1937, in Carter County. Her husband, Carl F. McCoy, preceded her in death. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will be in Sammons Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Deloris Greer McCoy 1937 - 2004 Deloris Greer McCoy, age 67, of Grayson, KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 27th, 2004 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was born January 15th, 1937, at Carter County, KY, a daughter of the late William and Amanda Miller Greer. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian Faith. In addition to her parents, her husband, Carl F. McCoy and a sister, Mary Lou Hill, preceded her in death. Her survivors include: 1 daughter: Marsha Boggs of Greenup, KY; 1 son: Carl Wayne McCoy and Rex McCoy of Grayson; 4 brothers: Darrell Greer, Bill Greer and Jim Greer all of Grayson and Woody Greer of Sandwich, IL; 4 sisters: Geneva Greer of Mansfield, OH, Jewell Belcher of Sandy Hook, KY, Thelma Jarvis and Margaret Greer of Olive Hill, KY; 7 grandchildren and 1 expecting 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Delmar Rogers, officiating. Burial will be in the Sammons Cemetery on Fields Branch. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-9pm at the funeral home.
