Kentucky GenWeb projectEvelyn Greer Tussey - 1934-2007 Evelyn Greer Tussey, 72, of Flatwoods, Ky., died Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at her residence. Mrs. Tussey was born Sept. 25, 1934, in Grayson, Ky., a daughter of the late Morton and Helen Fraley Greer. She was a devoted homemaker and a Baptist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Morton “Red” Greer, Johnny Greer and Billy Jack Greer; and two sisters, Helen Gates and Ruth Ann Carroll. Surviving are her husband, William W. Tussey of Flatwoods; a son, Lynn B. (Cheryl Ann Hill) Tussey of Ashland, Ky.; four grandchildren, Brandon Tussey, Summer S. Hill, Joshua Hughes and Christopher Hughes; and four great-grandchildren, Arianna Hill, Connor Hughes, Tyler Hughes and Taylor Hughes. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2007, at Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland by Brother Harry Sanders. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call after noon Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1538 Central Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
