Kentucky GenWeb projectEdna Grizzell Banks 1910 - 2005 Edna Banks, age 94, of Germantown, OH, formerly of Grayson, KY, passed away Thursday, June 2nd, 2005, at Friendly Nursing Home in Germantown. She was born June 7th, 1910 at Grayson, a daughter of the late Charley and Esie Wilson Grizzell. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Preceding her in death was her husband, Stanley Banks; a sister, Mattie Harris and a brother, Hughie Grizzell. Her survivors include: Her son: James (& Karen) Banks of Germantown, OH Granddaughter: Alexandria Roslin Banks of Germantown, OH Sisters: Juanita Jackson, Marie Bowen, Goldie Hay and Naomi Arnett all of Grayson, KY. Brothers: June Grizzell of Grayson, KY Wayne Grizzell of Flemingsburg, KY Close friends: Mary Waulk, Faye Bailey, Freda Keister and Barb Roberts and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 7th, 2005 at 11:00am at the Malone Funeral Home with Terry Harris, minister. Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
