Belva Artis 1924 - 2005 Belva Jackson Artis, age 81, of Grayson, KY, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 1st, 2005, in UK Medical Center. She was born March 29th, 1924, at Reedville, KY, a daughter of the late William and Rosie Jackson She was a former Custodian at Hitchins Elementary School and was a member of the Reedville Christian Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Artis in 1989. Her survivors include: 1 daughter: Sherry (and James) Hall of Allen, KY 2 sons: Gilbert Artis of Grayson Scott (and Christina) Artis of Grayson 8 grandchildren: April Artis, Marissa Artis, Tessa Artis, Ashley Sexton, Shelby Artis, Connie Winburn, Riley Hall and Jason Hall. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 6th, at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Bryan Whitt, minister. Burial will be in the Artis Family Cemetery.
