September 12, 2007 — Pauline Carroll Born – 1930 OLIVE HILL – Pauline Carroll, 77, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday, August 30, at her residence. She was born June 18, 1930 in Grahn, the daughter of the late George Washington and Ida Bell James. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gregoryville Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Ellwood Matthew Carroll; one brother, J.R. James; and three sisters, Faye Carroll, Berniece Rogers, and Gladys Rogers. She is survived by one son, Rodney Carroll and his wife Sherry of Olive Hill; two brothers, William James and John James both of Mansfield, Ohio; and one sister, Hazel McGlone of Carter City. There was a private viewing and service held on Sunday, September 2, at 1 p.m. at the Oney-Henderson Funeral Home in Olive Hill. The service was officiated by Lewis Davis. Burial followed in the Littleton Carroll Cemetery.
