Jessie, 73, precious husband, father and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning at his residence with his loving family at his side. Harold was born Oc.t 19, 1933, at Wesleyville in Carter County, a son of the late Coy F. and Arvilla Fannin Jessie. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 181 in Ashland for 44 years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dortha Cooper Jessie; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kim Jessie of Olive Hill; two daughters, Delena Jessie Wilson and Deanna Jessie, both of Olive Hill; three grandchildren, C.J. Wilson, Kaitlyn Jessie and Tessa K. Jessie; one brother and sister-in-law, Leroy and Mary Jessie of Olive Hill; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday Aug. 1 at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
