Bobby Jack Johnson 

1938-2004 

Bobby Jack Johnson, 66, of Ashland, Ky., went home to be with his Lord on Sunday morning, Feb. 22, 2004, with his family by his side. 

Mr. Johnson was born Feb. 7, 1938, in Rush, Ky., a son of the late Will and Annie Ball Johnson. 

He was a retired steelworker with U.S. Steel, was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as corporal in the U.S. Army, and was of the Nazarene faith. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Estie Unrue, Jessie Rady, Frances Pennington, Rosie Barber and Jean Withrow. 

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 42 years, Juanita Rigsby Johnson; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clinton Johnson and his wife, Deloris of Findlay, Ohio, and Channon Johnson and his wife, Donna, of Westwood, Ky.; three brothers, Ed Johnson and Ambrose Johnson of Ashland and Bill Johnson of Ironton, Ohio; one sister, Catherine Bostick of Westwood; two grandchildren, Braden and Brett Johnson; and expecting a third grandchild in April. 

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood by Clell Lucas minister. Burial will follow in Ashland Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight and one hour before the service Tuesday at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Walter King, Tom Osborne, Leroy Pollard, Wayne Sadler, Elwood Tackett and Benjamin Ingle.
