Edna Mae Boggs
SHELBY -- Edna Mae Boggs, 72, of Plymouth-Springmill Road, died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at her home.
Born September 12, 1932 in Olive Hill, KY to Russell and Opal (Hall) Johnson she had been a Shelby resident the majority of her life.
A homemaker, she enjoyed socializing with her friends and family.
Survivors include one son, Timothy Boggs, of Littleton, Colorado; one daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Russell Watts of Gahanna; one grandson, Erik Boggs; two sisters, Anne Bond of Shelby and Billie Smith of Mansfield; four brothers, Sidney Johnson and George Johnson, both of Aberdeen, Washington; Clyde Johnson of Harshaw, Wisconsin and Robert Johnson of Birch Tree, Missouri; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Duttry "Doug" Boggs in 1995, one son, John D. Boggs in 1989 and one daughter, Sheila Lynn Boggs in 1976.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from the Barkdull Funeral Home. Reverend Tim Young, of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
