Freddie Johnson, 1940-2007 NILES — Freddie Milton Johnson, 67, of 43 E. Woodland Ave., died Friday morning, June 22, 2007, at his residence following a long illness. He was born April 20, 1940, in Olive Hill, Ky., the son of Clide and Alice Mae Rogers Johnson. An Army and National Guard veteran, Freddie retired in August 1998 as an assembler at the General Motors Corp. Assembly Plant in Lordstown. He loved working on cars and could build almost anything. He cherished spending time with his 11 grandchildren. Freddie is survived by his wife, Judy Lynn Lewis Johnson, whom he married on March 18, 1976; four sons, Tony Johnson, Jack (Angela) Johnson, Kevin (Sarah) Johnson and Keith (Megan) Johnson, all of Niles; 11 grandchildren, Stacy, Joseph, Amanda, Priscilla, Courtni, Shelby, Alexis, Cheyanne, Chloe, Haley and Hunter; a brother, Marvin (Judy) Gearhart of Olive Hill, Ky.; and a sister, Sara (Bill) Fannin of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jackie Johnson; and a sister, Maggie Kiser. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.
