Larry Johnson 1949 - 2007 MOREHEAD – Larry Johnson, 57, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007 in the Life Care Center after an extended illness. He was born on December 16, 1949 in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Jess and Jettie Johnson. Larry had been a resident of Life Care Center for over 20 years. He enjoyed his family and friends, playing checkers and bingo and going to Morehead State University to watch ballgames and concerts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Keith Johnson. Survivors include his twin brother, Gary Johnson of Elliottville, half-brothers, Jess Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Jeanetta, Wayne Johnson, Justin Johnson and Jerome Johnson all of Morehead and Mark Johnson and his wife, Kathy of Olive Hill, half-sisters, Debbie Johnson and Connie Rayburn and her husband, Barry all of Olive Hill and Sherri Legare and her husband, Larry of Glasgow, Montana, two uncles, Damon Johnson of Elliottville and Tony Johnson of Dayton, Ohio, a special friend, Ted Marshall of Morehead and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Graveside services and burial were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 2, 2007 at the Johnson Family Cemetery in Elliottville with Rev. David Starcher officiating. Pallbearers were family and friends. Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home cared for all arrangements.
