Mrs. Rebecca Jones, who died Tuesday in Lakeside Hospital at the age of 102, will be buried in Highland Park Cemetery after services at 2 p.m. tomorrow in St. James A.M.E. Church. Friends may call at the Boyd funeral home, 2165 E. 89th Street. She had outlived two husbands and all but six of her 18 children, Mrs. Jones suffered a broken hip two weeks ago. She was born free near Portsmouth, O., six years before the Civil War broke out. She came here from Grayson, Ky., in 1916 after the death of her second husband. George Jones. She was formerly an active member of St. James A.M.E. Church. Surviving her are three sons, George and Fred Jones, with whom she made her home at 9904 Streater Court S. E., and Robert Ward; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Ricks, Mrs. Mary Coley and Mrs. Sally Hord; 36 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
