MR. KISER Thursday, February 8, 2007 10:28 PM EST | BEREA -- Thomas Jefferson Kiser, 65, born January 19, 1942 in Olive Hill, went to be with the Lord on February 6, 2007, after a sudden heart attack. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Branham Owens and Charles Kiser; brothers, Jimmy Wayne Kiser, and Garland Edgar Owens; and a sister Judith Ann Kiser. Tom is survived by his much loved and adored wife of 32 years, Susan Kiser of Berea; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and T.J. Dalton of Paint Lick; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Holli Kiser of Somerset; daughter, Jen Kiser of Berea; three grandchildren, Kristy and John Dalton, and a new arrival in August by his son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Holli Kiser; remaining siblings, Lou Martin and Brandi Stewart of Lexington; Marsha Vonderbrink of Maysville; and Freddy Owens of Manchester, Ohio. Tom is fondly remembered by Jarvis, Leroy, Jason and Tyler of Beattyville who worked with him at Kson Builders and all his wife's sisters and brothers who loved him dearly. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Joey Kays and the Rev. Ed Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Kiser family cemetery in Olive Hill. The family will receive friends Friday, 6-9 p.m. at the Lakes Funeral Home in Berea. Pallbearers will be T.J.Dalton, John Liddle, Mike Leger, Mike Trant, Bret Baierlein and John Bartlett.
