Mrs. Lula King Ashland Daily Independent April 8, 1963 Mrs. Lula King, Former Ashland Resident, Dies Mts. Lula Kitchen King, formerly of Ashland, died this morning at her home in Lexington, Ky., following an extended illness. She was the last surviving child of the late Charles Kitchen, one of the founders of the Second National Bank of Ashland. She was a native of Leon, Carter County. One son, Charles Newton King of St. Augustine, Florida, survives. The body is to be brought to the Miller Funeral Home in Ashland. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced tomorrow.
