Kentucky GenWeb projectMANSFIELD NEWS-JOURNAL (Mansfield, Ohio) Friday, January 1, 1960 Squire M. Knipp, 85, died at Madison Hospital Thursday after two weeks illness. He was born on June 5, 1874, at Olive Hill, Ky., where he lived until coming to Mansfield five years ago to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Bond of 219 Seventh Ave. He was a retired mine foreman and member of the Olive Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Jessie Knipp of Mansfield; tow daughter; Mrs. Bond and Mrs. Preston Ash both of Mansfield; 57 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. the body was removed to the Wappner funeral home for viewing Thursday evening, and removed to Olive Hill today for services and burial Saturday. Burial will be in Tackett Cemetery in Carter, County.
