Kentucky GenWeb projectGeorge William Madacsi 1943-2004 George William Madacsi, 60, of South Shore, Ky., died Monday, March 15, 2004, at his residence. He was born June 21, 1943, in Carter County, Ky., a son of the late William Peter Madacsi and Stella Mae Hall Madacsi. He was of the Baptist faith and was owner of Siloam Auction of South Shore. He had been an auctioneer for 46 years. Surviving are his wife, Debbie Bryant Madacsi, to whom he married on July 3, 1994; one daughter, Kelly Elizabeth Madacsi of South Shore; one stepdaughter, Lakrishia Huffman of South Shore; a stepson, Chester L. Fugate Jr. of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; six grandchildren, Ladonna Georgetta Brady, Jacquetta Huffman, Brianna Fugate, Joshua Kirby, Chester Fugate III and Dakota Fugate. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Madacsi and Robert Madacsi; and a sister, Georgette Madacsi. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2004, at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with the Rev. D.L. Webb officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery on Rt. 1, South Shore. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 tonight and after 11 a.m. Thursday.
