The Ashland Daily Independent 4-29-1978 Charles Orville Marshall Charles Orville Marshall 70, Willard died Friday at Kings Daughters Hospital following an extended illness. He was born May 22,1907 in Carter County, a son of the late George and Rena Salyers Marshall. He was a retired farmer and miner. Surviving are his wife Lillie Hardy Marshall; three sons Charles & Leonard of New Carisle, and Frankie Marshall of Willard; three daughters Mary Maxine Potter of Willard, Izetta Jackson of Strongsville, Ga. and Lida Cook of Springfield Ohio; three brothers Austin Marshall , Bill Marshall and Roscoe Marshall all of Willard; three sisters Liza Slone and Dora Wells of Willard and Gracie Steel of Ironton. Services were Conducted at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. Burial was in Carter County Memory Gardens.
