Wade McDavid 1919-2000 Wade McDavid, 80, of Grayson, died Saturday in King's Daughters Medical Center. Mr. McDavid was born April 2, 1919, in Carter County, a son of the late Fred and Amanda Stephens McDavid. He was a retired farmer and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by two sons and a daughter. Surviving are his wife, Ola Hall McDavid; four sons, Burrell McDavid, Rollen Dee McDavid, Murry Wade McDavid and Marty McDavid, all of Grayson; two daughters, Josephine Parsons and Joyce Rogers, both of Grayson; a sister, Nancy McDavid of Fort Myers, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson by Kenny Floyd and Ernie Bush. Burial was in McDavid Cemetery in Grayson. The Daily Independent Ashland, Kentucky
