Kentucky GenWeb projectEugene R. McGlone Eugene R. McGlone "Gene", age 89, of Centerville OH, passed away January 13, 2005 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born June 16, 1915 in Carter County KY to the late Denver and Elsie Kaiser. Gene was a member of the Church of the Incarnation Catholic Church and the American Legion Dignam, Whitmore Post Unit# 526 in Fairborn OH. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII and had retired from Monsanto Corporation and Rikes/Lazarus at the Dayton Mall. Gene was preceded in death by his brother, Otis of Portsmouth OH. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jenny Beach McGlone; 1 son, Michael and his wife Laura of Centerville; his much loved grandson Justin; and his sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Pete Watkins of Phoenix. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:15am January 15, 2005 at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave, Centerville OH with Father Pete Helmlinger officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-9pm January 14, 2005 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St Centerville OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton OH 45420.
