Kentucky GenWeb projectArthur McHenry The Ashland Daily Independent 4-6-1981 Arthur McHenry 62 of Denton died Monday in the Lexington VA Medical Center. Mr. McHenry was born June 3,1918 in Carter County, a son of the late Sam & Rose Childers McHenry, He was a farmer and saw mill operator and a member of the Denton Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Esther Reeves McHenry; three sons Marvin, Merlin and William McHenry all of Denton; two daughters Miss Janice McHenry of Denton and Miss Betty McHenry at home; a brother Elmer McHenry of Turkey Creek; two sisters Mrs Nannie Senters and Miss Goldie McHenry both of Westwood; and seven grandchildren. Services were held at the Denton Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in McHenry Cemetery. Malone Funeral was in charge of arrangements.
