John Ernest Meenach - 1928-2007 John Ernest Meenach, 78, of Grayson, went to be with his heavenly Father Friday, April 13, 2007, at his residence following a long illness. He was born Dec. 18, 1928, in Grayson, a son of the late Oscar and Kate Gee Meenach. He was retired from CSX Railroad as a car man, a member of the Glory Hill Community Church and also attended John’s Run Tabernacle and Old Path Pentecostal Holiness. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Ison Meenach in 1989; two brothers, Charlie and Evertt Meenach; and one sister, Virginia James. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Betty Bush James Meenach; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Clyde and Susie Meenach of Grayson, Scott James and Carl David and Rita James of Grayson; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley and Freddie Hamilton of Lima, Ohio, Karen Carper of Grayson and Judy and Scott Davis Bellefonte; three brothers, Owen Meenach and Verlin “Bud” Meenach of Grayson and James Landis “Cap” Meenach of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; Mike Meenach, Melissa Floyd, Ronda Felty, Wilma Holton, Jessica Carper, Andrea Decker, Lacy Stafford, Kellie Meenach, Dempsy Barker, Chris Dixon, Holly Davis, Julie Kouns, Blake Davis, Justin Davis, Mary Beth James and Michael Ball; 10 great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Joe. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by the minister Don Pope. Burial will be in Grayson Memorial Burial Park.
